Vermont Hand Crafters is the oldest and largest juried craft organization in Vermont. Our membership includes over 200 artists and artisans who have been chosen based on the quality and originality of their work.

Arts and Crafts have a long history and are traditional to life in Vermont. The earliest issues of Vermont Life magazine feature stories about how farm families would pass the long winter months by producing traditional and functional crafts.

The natural beauty found in Vermont still continues to inspire and sustain the creativity of its many artists and artisans. The quality of life in Vermont features hard work, ingenuity, integrity, and personal relationships, which makes goods produced in Vermont valued the world over.
